Too much to do, too little time

When you are working back to back the hours between tours are precious but overcrowded. Flying to Dublin soon to pick up a group at the airport tomorrow and I have to wash, iron, pack and organise my life at home. You have very little time for domestic duties but I actually quite enjoy a few domestic chores as a contrast to living in hotels all the time, especially when they are such mediocre hotels as I had on last tour.
To add to my woes the washing machine is broken and there is no chance to have it fixed in near future as I have one day off in August, two in September and only in October will things ease a little.
So at nine this morning I was squeezing socks and shirts of lukewarm water in the garden and hoping they would be dry before I left so my girlfriend would not have to look at my underwear and socks when she gets back from tour. And as for sleeping together, forget it - we are like two watches that run on different times and are never in same place/time together. At least if one of the watches/tour guides had stopped we would be showing the same time once (twice?) a day...
Hoping to see her in Belfast when we coincide briefly - if I am not washing socks in hotel room.
But always find time to blog...

Pick up paranoia

I was going to post this on the Trafalgar website but decided to keep a low profile and talk to myself (and any watchers as well). Very frustrated at prospect of following pick ups tomorrow morning:
Clifton Ford Hotel (near Oxford St) 7:00 (1 person)
Hilton Olympia Hotel 7:20 (6 people)
Chelsea Village Hotel 7;40 (38 people)
Then all the way back to Victoria for ONE individual passenger who is not staying in a company hotel
Then downt o Stonehenge, Salisbury and all the way to Cornwall and back to Plymouth for first night
Nightmare more like...
