SELF-UNEMPLOYED
Just finished a six day tour with a snowstorm in York on final morning - very dramatic and a treat for those who have not experienced snow before. Now out of work semi-deliberately for a couple of months. Might as well make a virtue of necessity as there is little work around and the weather is not really right for touring so will concentrate on the Guide Book and other writing projects. On the road when hopefully the tourists will be coming back in March. Unless ther are any exciting job offers out there - would have to be v good to compete with guiding/tour directing but you never know. Always be open to new ideas.

I am looking forward to reading your book on guiding. I´ve been working on a book for 5 years and each year I update it and use it for tourist guide training in Iceland. The book is in Icelandic and deals with local issues.
